Hi,
I've got a question :
How is the wind vector computed ?
I've thought the computer needs the True Air Speed to do that (ie G1000).
Is this indication reliable ?

Yttrium, I can only imagine that the SD team uses the winds aloft from www and the TAS you've entered for your route to calculate wind vectors.

As far as I know, in flight it is taken from the latest forcast winds...

The Wind instrument displays forecast wind.
